Countdown Begins for Kemer Sports Days

In April, the Kemer Sports Days Preparation Meeting was attended by Governor Hulusi Şahin, who emphasized the importance of these events to enhance Kemer’s brand value and extend the tourism season in Kemer.

The Kemer Sports Days, planned to include competitions and events in various sports such as cycling, tennis, swimming, running, volleyball, and sailing, saw the participation of Kemer District Governor Ahmet Solmaz, Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Candemir Zoroğlu, Provincial Director of Youth Services and Sports Yavuz Gürhan, institutional representatives, and sponsors.

Promotion Opportunity for Kemer Sports Days Governor Şahin highlighted the need to diversify tourism to extend the tourism season in Kemer and distribute it over 12 months, stating that he found the Kemer Sports Days very important in this regard.

Governor Şahin noted that Kemer, in addition to its beautiful beaches, boasts magnificent forests, mountains, and underwater beauties, and added: “Kemer Sports Days will be a start and a revival. This year will be the first. We had our first meeting on October 22. We plan to implement the events during the week of April 23. With these and similar events, we will work together to strengthen Kemer’s brand value.”

The Heart of Sports Will Beat in Kemer Kemer Sports Days, featuring competitions, matches, and workshops in multiple sports disciplines and offering a blend of sports and entertainment for all ages from 7 to 70, will be held from April 20 to 28, 2025.

With the main centers of the event being the green area behind the Kemer Municipality and the rally track in the Kemer region, the opening day will feature surprise mega concerts by famous artists, Expo area activities, and sports activities that will bring together hundreds of sports enthusiasts, both local and international.

The event will include the Gran Fondo race, one of the most well-known series in the cycling world, bringing together local and international professional and amateur cyclists, as well as the Ten Pro Global Junior Tour Tennis Tournament for future stars aged 10-16.

The Duathlon Race, consisting of swimming and running disciplines, the Sky To Sea Mountain Bike Descent Race from Beydağları to the sea, the popular Trail Run concept, the Beach Volleyball Championship, which has made great progress and reached large audiences in Turkey in the last 5 years, the Stand Up Paddle (SUP) race, and the Laser Optimist sailing race will also be part of the Kemer Sports Days.

At the event village, where an activity stage will be set up, notable names will perform, and various adrenaline shows will be held in the event area surrounded by sponsor tents.
